Naturepedic is known for having high-quality, chemical-free, environmentally friendly products, and this mattress pad does not disappoint. My son has wet and spit-up on his bed repeatedly, and the mattress (also a Naturepedic) has always been fully protected. It washes very well. It fits tightly, does not smell (like vinyl pads do), and is worth the extra money. I would recommend buying two, however, as these pads take a long time to dry (even in the dryer), which speaks well to their water-proofing, but it is more convenient to be able to put another pad on the bed immediately than to have to wait for this one to dry. LOVE it, would recommend it to everyone.

Balls Soccer Comforter Bedding Set Twin Review

This bedset set is decent quality. To clarify, you are getting a lot for the price. If you really want top quality sheets, you are not going to buy them in a bulk set like this and/or you would pay a ton more. I bought this set for a my preschool aged son after returning a similar looking set from Bed Bath & Beyond that turned out to be very poor quality.
The conforter design is one one of the most appealing sports themed comforters I found. There are the four balls in corners of blue (shown in the photos) on one side. The other side has smaller balls in a blue stripe print. Both prints are both relatively attractive. The reversible comforter is a nice feature.
The sheets are a bit stiff, but they've softened after several washes. They pattern is small balls in stripes. There is a yellow stripe on the top of the flat sheet and on the side of the pillow case. There is a nice print of the ball on one side of the sheets, but the underside has only a shadow.
The comforter is quite warm and seems to be pretty durable. I tried washing it, but it is too big for my home washing machine. The material is a bit stiff, but that is primiarly from the thick fill.
The soccer ball throw pillow is a nice touch.
The bed skirt is the same print as the sheets. That seemed like too much print, so I haven't used it.
This set is great for any boy up through junior high school age.

250 Thread Count Cotton Double Dobby Stripe Duvet Set Review

Immediately upon receiving this duvet and the two included pillowcases, I washed it and put it on my king down comforter (which I got at Bed Bath and Beyond, the brand is "Royal Velvet" if anyone is curious, I recommend it highly as well). The fabric is moderately thin and I suppose that some people would find 250 TC inadequate, but it is precisely what I wanted in terms of quality and thickness, as the climate where I live is cool enough to require a comforter but never drops below freezing, so I don't want the comforter to get any warmer. The texture is a nicely subtle striped pattern, quite soft, and the cover seems to be sewn well enough, with the comforter fitting perfectly within. The opening has a lot of buttons which are somewhat tedious to undo, but I guess that's a good thing. I'm pleasantly surprised and would recommend this to anyone looking for a duvet under $50.

I ordered two of these beds for the spare bedroom of my home, hoping to use it for my grandchildren when they stay overnight. The beds are very sturdy, easy to assemble, and look great. So happy with this purchase. We bought the natural color for our son who is 21 months. So sturdy and well-made for a toddler bed. Our daughter has a Dream On Me toddler bed and THIS ONE is definitely nicer! It will definitely hold up for a while! The mattress boards have their own slots to make them much sturdier than the standard toddler bed. Definitely recommend this toddler bed!

Modern Toddler Cot Review

We bought this bed to transition our 23 month old son out of his crib. It was easy to assemble but a bit labor intensive; it took my husband about two hours to put it together, and he's a handy DIYer. The bed is really nice-looking and has modern lines, which I really appreciate. Also it appears well made, with two layers of "wood" under the mattress area for extra support. And it doesn't take up a lot of space in my son's small room, another big plus. My son took to it right away and was sleeping in the bed exclusively by day two, making his transition easy as pie. I think it helps that the bed is very low to the ground and therefore not scary to youngsters.
However, I have to take two stars away because the bed is a small platform bed, meaning that the edges stick out about two inches from the mattress on all sides. Every time my son flings himself into the bed (which happens A LOT with an active two-year-old), he bangs his ankles, shins, and knees really hard. He now has giant bruises and welts all over his legs. I was hoping that this would improve once he learned to navigate around the frame but after having observed him use the bed for three weeks with no improvement, I think this is just part of the hazard of having this type of bed. I know several adults who are having similar trouble with their own platform beds. This isn't a problem I'm willing to accept for my toddler, however. This bed will likely be exchanged for something a little less hazardous to small legs.

Brand New Annas Dream Quilt set Review

This is a great quilt set. I've owned it for 2 years and had it on my daughter's bed (she's almost 10 now). This is a high quality set with sturdy stitching. I have laundered it numerous times at the laundromat in the high capacity washers & dried it in the dryer. It's heavy & held up wash after wash. The pattern is adoreable.
I also own the valances & sheets. I paired the valances with pink long drapes with foam backing to keep out light & heat for late sleeping & summertime (to keep the room cooler as the sun sets). I chose to use a white bedskirt since her furniture is white and it looks wonderful. The Anna's Dream sheets are 100% cotton & 200 TC. I went against Mfr's instructions and bleached them too many times and they became brittle & got holes & ripped (wouldn't do that again) but they were also good quality. I just washed them improperly.
The set has so many colors that you can paint the walls solid (pink, lavender or yellow would look best) or do 1/2 & 1/2 paint. We chose yellow on top & lavender on bottom with a border.
I didn't buy the set from Amazon, but from another source. It shouldn't matter, however, because it's made by the same Mfr. and distributes to all who sell it.
This is a really adoreable set.

Cotton Top Mattress Pad Review

I purchased this mattress pad about 3 weeks ago based on the very good reviews on this website. Even though there were no reviews which talked about how much padding this particular pad actually provided, I decided to take a chance.
Let me start by saying that I agree that this pad fits very well over our current mattress (in fact, our mattress apparently was quite thin, so adding the pad on top helped our sheets fit a bit better) and the material it is made of seems like it would hold up pretty well in the washing machine.
Unfortunately, this pad is not very thick. In fact, I would argue that it's very hard to tell the difference when this pad is attached to the mattress.
Overall, for the price, it's not horrible. But if you are buying a pad looking for a boost in comfort, I would recommend that you look a little more, or at least try to find this product in a retail store so you can see what I mean for yourself.

Absolutely beautiful comforter. The color description says off white but to me it is very white. The cotton is so soft and the quality is really outstanding. It has a very intricate carved detailed pattern that is very Tuscan and that is what I was going for. The weight of it is perfect for summer. And the best part is that I finally found a comforter that fit my bed because with the newer mattresses that are so thick I couldn't find a cotton comforter that would properly fit. Extremely thrilled with this purchase.

After having my old, rinky-dink blanket since infancy (practically), I though it was time for a new one.
Now, I'm an extremely picky buyer. I will literally spend at least 3 hours debating whether I want to buy something even as little as a pair of socks. Most of the time this is from making sure it'll fit me to matching something I already own and everything in between. However, this blanket didn't take that much time at all. One look at it and I loved it. I did do a fair amount of research on what to expect when receiving it, but that was hardly needed.
I already planned on getting a new bed that would be draped in black and I thought these colors would stand out and blend it all together nicely -- it does. This feels grand and looks gorgeous; so satisfied.
EDIT: Forgot to mention -- EXTREMELY FAST SHIPPING. I got it the day after I ordered.

Some years ago I invested in one of those sleep number mattresses for my now departed wife and myself. While it was sold with a long guarantee, like most warranties, the warranty included was pro-rated so over the successive years as parts of the mattress were worn badly I was left buying a new pillow top and case for the air chamber components. As I went to install the new components I saw how badly worn the original items were, and how dirty and yellowed the original pillow top had gotten. Sweat and body oils wore through the linens and eventually stained the white pillow top.
With new components in place I'm doing the best I can to keep things nice and like new and that meant finding a product like this to use to keep body oils and such off the mattress. I wish this was perhaps a little less expensive, but given the price that I paid for the new mattress components buying this mattress cover is a reasonable investment, especially given the 'odd' size (Olympic Queen) of my mattress.
This mattress cover isn't noticable when installed (a very good thing) and doesn't at all change the comfort of the mattress or the sheet that covers it. Highly recommended for helping to extend the life of your mattress :-)

After looking through numerous online sites for a good deal for my nephew's upcoming freshman year of college, I found this to be the best value for the price. Trying to find extra-long sheets for dorm beds is difficult by itself but then you have to get the mattress pad and comforter to fit also. This was great, it had the sheets, the comforter, mattress pad and even included towels and extra pillow sham. I would definitely recommend this to anyone but especially a college freshman.

I bought this bunk bed, desk, chair and entertainment stand for my 6 year old son for Christmas. The pictures looked really good online so I took the chance and it was worth every penny. The wood is solid and beautiful, the assembly of the bunk bed and additional pieces was very straight forward and super sturdy. My son's room looks so awesome now and he absolutely loves it, his favorite gift next to Star Wars Legos.
All you need to add to the bunk bed are the twin and double mattresses, no box springs needed since there are slats to support the mattresses. Also the three drawers under the bed and the one with the entertainment stand were enough to store all my son's clothes so I could get rid of the old junky dresser he had.
Overall I'm extremely pleased with this set and would recommend it to anyone I know.

Having purchased numerous mattress pads (because most of them are utter garbage) I was very impressed when I received this. The actual padding is very nice and a lot thicker than most pads I've seen and also doesn't look like you picked it out of a dollar store (it has a quality look to it, 300 thread count, I believe).
Now, where this really shines is the part where it isn't padded (the fabric that goes on the side of the bed that you tuck in). Most pads have this weird filter-looking material that you can easily poke your finger through. This pad has a very nice quality material thats quite stretchy but very durable. This is a quality pad and I expect it will last me a long, long time.

I was thinking the colors would be the greens, blues and tans/yellows for a lake theme, but the colors are much greener, darker, and duller than they appear in any of the pics I've seen on the internet. Not much blue or teal in it at all. Also, the backing is a yellow and green plaid like the Green Bay Packer colors. In fact, someone decorating with a Green Bay Packer theme might appreciate this.
I washed it before using it and, although I have a large washer and dryer, the duvet was totally wrinkled. I tried it twice, but still the wrinkles remain. I'm not anal about having things neatly pressed, but this is so wrinkled it looks horrible. I'll have to iron it after each washing. It's made in India.
However, it IS solid and heavy. Seems well sewn.

Decided to purchase this bed for our daughter. The bed came as 3 double boxed packages from Texas, and we received them within a week from the time I ordered. It took me around 4 hours to remove the bed from boxes and assembled it completely. Two of the drawer front panels were damaged during shipping and Bunk Bed King was able to mail me replacement ones within a week. Very nice customer service. As for the bed, it's nice quality bed made from Brazil. However the bed is around 30" in high after I put a 8" mattress on top. So we use Dex Products Safe Sleeper Bed Rail Ultra to prevent our daughter falling 30" off the bed and onto the floor.

We bought this crib to put in our bedroom as space is tight. It came in great condition and was easy to put together. It looks very nice and we receive many compliments that it looks great with our own dark finish bedroom furniture. We have only had our 6 week old baby sleep in it a few times. He is still sleeping in the bassinet with an incline. The size is great, no need for a "regular" sized crib. The only reason this crib does not get 5 stars is due to the mattress. It is very thin, 1"-1.5", I cant remember. I am thinking of buying a 3" mini crib mattress to put in it.

I did not actually buy this product from Amazon, but I wanted to review it here for others as I find the reviews extremely helpful.
We have a convertible crib that we recently converted from crib to the toddler bed. Like a lot of kids, our son moves a lot in his sleep. Even though the bed was 6-8 in off the ground, I was worried he'd fall out of bed anyway. At first we intended to buy a regular bed rail, knowing at some point we'll get a twin bed for his room. However, some reviews I read specifically mentioned that those rails would not fit a toddler bed or a convertible crib, and I was worried they'd be too long for the toddler bed anyway.
Once it was assembled, it was very easy to install onto the bed. A great feature is that the rail itself snaps in and out of the brackets easily, so it can be removed in seconds to change the sheets, etc. It fits the bed well and there aren't any gaps or movement of the rail for anything to get caught in.
The directions, however, are lacking. There is a diagram on the first page listing all the parts and labeling them as A, B, C, etc. The actual directions are on the next page (like a book) and say something like "Connect Bed Rail A to Bracket B" so I kept having to flip back and forth to determine what part I was working with and where it was going etc. There are no drawings accompanying the directions themselves and I found the directions, while somewhat detailed, were still confusing. We got it all together and then determined, while installing it on the bed, that we'd put the brackets in backwards so we had to take them out. That was kind of a pain b/c they snap together sort of like tent poles, with the holes and the buttons to press down to "release" and the release part was hard. We had to use a screwdriver to get it to release.
I think that these directions really, really need to have pictures with each step b/c it was very difficult to know if we were putting things together correctly (which we did not, apparently!) Once it's together, it's very easy to put on the bed itself.
The other comment I have is that our crib/bed has 3 mattress levels. We had the mattress on the very lowest level and then when we converted the bed to the toddler bed and put the rail on, we actually had to raise the mattress back to the middle level. It's hard to explain here but the product has a strap that connects to the opposite side of the mattress, and then you tighten it. Then it also has this rectangular bar structure that is supposed to lay flat on the mattress, with the brackets for the rail resting on the outside/other side of the mattress. With the mattress in the lowest position, the bar structure was laying at an angle - basically the bracket side higher than the spring part of the bed b/c the brackets were resting on the outside rail of the bed, so we raised the mattress back to the middle level so the bar would rest flat against the mattress spring base.

This bunk bed came just like it is advertised! Right coloring and everything. I thought that I could put it together by myself - but it definitely takes 2 people to put it together. There were a few minor scratches - but not to get upset about.
The only problem I had was that the delivery company just dropped the parts off at the curb - they did not have instructions to bring the boxes in. He took it off the truck and helped take it off the pallet. Thank goodness we have a small wheel cart where I could push the boxes into the house! If not, I would've had to wait for my husband to come home and carry the heavy boxes inside and had to leave the new bunk bed by the street.

It was nice to find a bed frame like this available online with free shipping because it was so much more convenient to order than to go pick up from the store myself. It shipped quickly and arrived in great condition.
The assembly went very fast because of the easy to understand instructions. The bed frame is sturdy and strong. The frame was good purchase since the size can be adjusted to fit larger mattresses.
I never realized how convenient the rollers on the bottom would be. My wife says it is really easy to make my son's bed because she can roll the bed a little bit away from the wall to tuck in the sheet and quilt. And when toys get dropped behind his bed, it is easy to get to them.
I would definitely buy from this seller again and am very happy with my purchase.

phil&teds Traveller Crib Review

I borrowed a Traveller from a friend for an overseas trip with my 10-month old and liked it so much that I bought my own. It's lightweight, easy to set up, packs small enough to fit into a suitcase, and definitely fills the need for a playpen/crib in a hotel room. However, we just returned from a week-long trip, and my almost-brand new Traveller exhibited some serious quality issues. The zipper broke on the stuff sack, the zipper came unstitched on the top panel, and one of the tightening pulls on a leg came off. My friend's Traveller has shown none of these problems, so maybe I just got a bum one. The Phil & Ted's warranty, though, seems much more restrictive than similar high-end producers so we'll see what they say.

Regalo Sleep Tite Extra Long Drop Down Bed Rail - White Review

This review is for both Sleep Tite Extra long and another comparable model, Hide Away Extra Long, of same brand. I am currently using both models so I can compare these two with each other.
What's in common?
Overall both are in good quality and solid enough for their purpose. The extra long length is a big advantage for my sleep-mobile kids. They don't just roll sideways. These rails are the longest ones I can find on market. They look very similar and basically have same mechanism for installation. Once installed properly, there is no gap(at least no gap that wide enough to be considered dangerous)between the rail and mattress. I use one for each of my girls. They are both serious rollers and more than often they lean against the rail and put their faces against the mesh. No suffocation worries. I know it's not for co-sleep but I use it for co-sleep with my younger daughter anyway. Don't see any issue.
What's different?
Portability: I ordered the Hide Away(HA) model first for my older daughter and liked it. So when my younger daughter refused to go back to her crib to sleep, I ordered another for co-sleeping. This time I tried Sleep-Tite(ST). The first thing I noticed is ST is much lighter than HA. Besides the top rail of ST can be folded in half, unlike the HA, which has just one solid steel rod. So if I need one for travel, I will definitely get ST because the HA is not really portable by its design and weight.
Installation: The manuals are very detailed and helpful. ST is easier to install than HA because the fabric are put on differently. If you look at the pictures closely, you will see the top part of the HA is round cornered one-piece but in HA, there are two connecting pieces for top rail and side rail. In HA, I had to really squeeze the fabric to put on the rail along the turns. For ST it's easy because you can put on the mesh then bend the top and side rails to position.
Sturdiness: Both are sturdy enough as I can tell. However, if I rock the rail hard, the ST is more wobbly because the folding mechanism. The HA is one piece of solid panel that barely moves. I use HA for my older daughter's bed. She would grab the rail when she tries to climb up to her bed (which I don't recommend your kid doing) and the rail support her very well. So you can tell it's pretty sturdy.
Something interesting about the folding mechanism on ST: The hinge(or knot) in the middle of the top rail is protected with some sort of cushion. I guess it's to prevent children hitting on it since it's protruding and hard. It serves the purpose well. However, combined with the type of fabric they use, it is very "crunchy" and make noises when baby scratch it. It attracts my little girl to scratch more. So depend how you look at it, it's entertaining (for baby) and annoying (in the middle of night). I don't find myself bothered at all. Just funny.
My complaints:
The only thing bothers me is how the rail drops down. I first thought the push-in-under-mattress is a good idea in HA. However, it's very hard to do and run into the risk of ripping the bottom of mattress. I don't really need the "Hide-Away" feature since who cares if the bed is not picture perfect in a house with young kids. However, I do need the rail to be dropped down completely that I can sit on the edge comfortably for bedtime story. The problem is the "hinge" of the rail is at the level of the bottom of mattress. And the rail is pretty tall(a good safety feature though). So you need certain height of the bed to accommodate the whole piece. In my case, the rail would drop to floor at an angle that I couldn't sit on the bed without some hopping. It's not a problem on our adult-sized bed though.
Another thing is I can't drop the rail with one shot. I have to go to the left to disengage the pin then go to the right to disengage the other pin before I can drop the rail. I am 5'4" with not so long arms. I guess it's a trade-off of getting an extra long rail.
In summary, both are good quality products I trust to put on kid's bed. If you need something for travel, use Sleep-Tite. If you don't plan to take it away, use Hide Away since it's more solid.

This DIY headboard is a good value for the money. We've put together our fair share of furniture from various places over the past months. This one was a dream to assemble! I bought one in red and one in brown. The red one washed fine....a little shedding like you'd expect from a plush blanket. The brown one was a whole different story. I had to clean the washer & dryer out afterward...full of brown fluff balls. Washed & dried one more time, hoping that would be all it needed. Took it out, put it on the bed over nice clean sheets. Big mistake. It shed on everything. It looked like I had just had a family of brown bears as overnight guests. I had to wash the sheets, vacuum the carpet. I tried a lint roller. I brushed the blanket. I called in an exorcist. The fuzz balls have migrated all over the house and all over my other laundry. In the process of stuffing it into a garbage bag, my kitchen floor got covered in brown fuzz. It's in my nose and eyes. It spread like an infection. DO NOT buy this blanket in brown. I didn't see the brown listed anymore as an available color on Amazon, thank goodness.
Let me add that I buy a LOT of stuff from Amazon, and 99% of the time I'm VERY HAPPY...but this sure has been a horrific experience for me!

We converted our toddler's crib into a toddler bed and this set is great for bridging the gap between regular crib bedding (fitted sheet and blanket only) and adult sheets (fitted sheet, top sheet and blanket). The "top sheet" has elastic on the one end so it never comes untucked, which is great. Since it's summer we haven't used the blanket yet but looks good too.

These sheets are very comfy, even right out of the packaging they have a very smooth, sof texture. They have a satin finished appearance, but neverfeel "slick". After washing them and sleeping a few nights on them I am very pleased with them and would definitely purchase more of these in the future and would recomend them to others. Coleman Queen-Sized Quickbed with Wrap 'N' Roll Storage Review

If you are looking for a bed you can take with you camping in the summer and to relatives homes any time of the year, this bed works fairly well for short term use and is a quick and cheap solution. I find the Coleman beds last quite a long time, even though you will eventually find yourself on the floor due to the many problems that can occur with placing an airbed on the floor. For one, sharp objects will easily puncture the bed and this includes playful cats tossing about toys near the bed or like my cat loves to do, pushing a cat toy under the bed and retrieving it again.
I've lost two beds this way, but this can be solved by placing a thick mattress cover over the bed. Sharp objects under the carpet may also puncture the bed although this bed has an exclusive PVC and the airtight system is guaranteed not to leak. I find that we deflate this bed in the morning and inflate it again at night, so this isn't really a problem, although after two days, you may notice air has leaked out a little bit more than you expect.
The comfortsmart coil system helps the bed to conform to your body for better support, which means you might like this bed better than a regular mattress. In my short lifetime I've purchased quite a few of these beds and more expensive doesn't mean more comfortable. To be honest, this is more comfortable than the Aero beds with the pillow top.
If the bed looses air, you might want to take a look at the inflation instructions where it shows the internal seal and the internal yellow post and how you can completely seal the valve in a two-step process.
"Air temperature and weather do affect the air pressure in inflatable products. In cold weather your airbed will lose some pressure due to the fact that the air will contract."
So, to avoid this happening, we use a heating blanket on the bed.
One thing I will say about Coleman, they stand by
their warranty. With Aero, I found it difficult
to even return a bed or to find a return address
at their site.

Tommy Hilfiger White Ithaca Ottoman Bedskirt Review

I bought this product 3 months ago and used it since the purchase.
The textile is okay, and the colour and shape of the product is shown exactly same as the photo (which isn't always true).
I would recommend this product if you don't mind having non-decorative style.
However, I think $30 is slightly overpriced for this product, $20~$25 for twin size would be what I expect.

This should have been a full size headboard it is a twin size.
I realized it was fake brass when I purchased but I did not expect
it to be the size for a child bed because it states full size.
It also had awful instruction. This was not worth the price should
have been free and you still would not want it.
Very upset and this company really misrepresent this product.

For the price, I wasn't expecting anything high quality, but I also wasn't expecting sheets that you can see through and will exfoliate your body while you sleep. Even after washing them, they still smelled like chemicals and were still stiff. I would have sent these back, but my son loves his new bed set too much.
If I had to do it over again.... I'd buy the comforter and skip the sheets.

I purchased this organic cotton mattress protector to go on top of my Natural Mat Coco Mat. The material is thick and soft. Unfortunately the middle layer is made out of polyurethane. I've since returned it. I now use Naturepedic Waterproof Flat Crib Pad, 28x52. The waterproof layer is made out of food grade polyethylene.

Snags galore. doesn't fit bed, although it states that it is longer---longer than what?, certainly not the bed. Strong gasoline smell that wouldn't go away in spite of putting it in the dryer twice with up to six dryer sheets at a time. Smell transferred to everything it touched. Had to wash bedcloths to get the smell out. Don't buy this bedspread!

This quilt set is exactly what I hoped I was buying. It's very well made of good quality materials, and it looks exactly as pictured on the Amazon site. Because it's reversible, I can now have two new looks in this bedroom. It works nicely in conjunction with the white eyelet bedding I already had, but it has added much character to the otherwise bland room. I am completely satisfied with this purchase. My only concern was that the seller's packaging was not very professional or sturdy and the box came damaged. However, the contents were fine.

I didnt have the shipping issues the other reviewer did--my bed arrived from fed-ex exactly on time and packed up perfectly. Maybe the only downside was i had to haul the mattress to my actual apartment as the fed-ex guy only got it as far as my elevator.
As for the bed itself, super comfy. I wish they had made the full-size with the air-venting bottom foam cuz it does get a teensie bit warm, but i sleep with my window open so its not a big deal for me. You cut open the vacuum plastic packaging and the thing unfolds and inflates itself. The smell took a few days to dissipate, but it really wasnt horribly smelly to begin with.
Overall, very satisfied with this purchase and at 399 shipping included, really cannot be beat!

I have been searching websites, stores high & low to find a decent slip cover for a tuft headboard for my bed. Kitty scratched original material on headboard. During my search, I discovered that slip covers for existingheadboards are difficult to buy separate from headboard & often one had to buy a new headboard entirely. I was delighted beyond ecstasy to finally find a reasonable priced, sturdy well made slipcover of a luscious medium shade of brown. The fit was beyond hope & fit the headboard snuggly with no gaps. I have given my room a new look. My only complaint is that I want to see a larger selection of colors so that I can have several slipcovers in stock .

The comforter holds up well for being only 50 bucks.The fabric is so-so and the filling is cheap.Is is lighter than the picture but other than that it was well worth it.My cats play claws and all on it.They sleep there allot too and to my surprise this comforter does not collect the hair nor any other items like dust or lint.I have had it for a while now and nothings is wrong with it so far.All in all it was a good buy and is worth it if you are expecting to get a new comforter within in a year or so.

I used to have a mattress pad from Sunbeam. The improvement I see in Rest Secure are: 1) the power cord connector is on the side, instead of on top of the mattress like Sunbeam, which is annoying when you sleep on it. 2) warmer heat zone for the feet, it does get colder that side. 3) the setting control has 2 buttons, 5 levels, Sunbeam has a rotational knob for 10 levels. I have to say buttons looked less sophisticated, but it is easier to manipulate, especially when you are half awake at night.

We bought this bed 6 months ago, at first we thought it was wonderful. We purchased it because we couldn't get the box spring up the stairs, and we needed a quick solution. The frame squeaks every time you roll over right from the start, at about month 3 we noticed that the bottom portion of the frame was starting to bend on both sides, and the legs to the frame are not very sturdy at all! Last night when our dog was laying on the bed alone (she is 85 lbs) the middle of the frame broke in half and the entire mattress caved in! Please note, we aren't skinny tiny people, but we certainly do not exceed, or come close to meeting the weight limit that this bed is supposed to support. So, now only after 5 months of use, we are forced to get another frame. Once the frame started to bend, it did nothing but give us back problems anyway, because the bed was at a constant slant. We also had problems with frame moving constantly ( Ie, would slide on the floor away from the wall every night) even with little to no movement in the bed. Easy set up out of the box, poor product and quality. Spend a few extra dollars and get something that is going to last.

I bought this comforter because I needed a new one for when I moved back to University this semester. When I received it at first I was worried that it would not be good enough because it felt flimsy. After washing it and setting up my bed with it I fell in love with it. The blanket itself is light weight but still creates warmth, it is perfect for fall nights but I would not suggest it for extremely cold areas. All in all, it is a gorgeous comforter set that's color schemes compliment itself and any plain room.

We purchased this bed September 2010 for our 4 year old son. The bed is exaclty what we were looking for with the exception of a few problems. It states you can use a standard mattress without the bunk board. We purchased a standard mattresses and placed them on the bed and if you pull the mattress to the front of the bed you have approximately 4 inches of bed exposed. Then you also have approximately another 4-6 inches to the wall with the bed against the wall. We had to place a blanket between the bed and the wall so our son would not roll off the bed. Also when he gets on the bed because there is so much exposed space the mattress slides to the back. Not happy with that at all. The bed seems to be a little bigger than the standard twin. Other than that...the bed is a great bed and our son loves it!!

I bought this for my son and he was so excited. The picture on the top is really good and it covered all sides of his bed very well. I like that it is reversible. I think it will hold up nicely. I haven't washed it yet, but I will probably take it to the laundry mat and use a big washer, so I won't mess up the stuffing. I got this for a really good deal. It was worth it!

Lenox Holiday Gathering Quilt Review

As I am a quilter, I hesitated before buying this quilt sight unseen. It is just charming. I have a Birds in the Air quilt, made by Sandy Turner, over my bed and this Feathered Star complements it beautifully. It is large enough to hang down over the top of the dust ruffle, comfortable sleeping under, and durable enough for 2 cats to romp over it. The embroidery is delicate looking. The only thing that some might object to is that the quilting stitches are large. However, the quilting is close enough so that this isn't a problem.

Camelot - 6 piece crib set Review

I absolutely LOVE this set! I looked for months for the perfect set for my baby girl (after having all-blue everything for ages for my little boy who is now 2), and this set was just so pretty! I bought almost everything in the set and, honestly, her room looks like something out of a fairytale!
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars (I wish they had a category for 4 3/4) is that the castle/carraiage figures on the quilt clips are not fastened down all the way, so part of the castle snapped off at the very top. But, this was really easy to fix with a little gorilla glue. Also, the set is a little more pastel than it looks in the picture- but it is still absolutely gorgeous!
I am a big fan of the reviews on here and tend to read them all before I buy anything, so in that spirit I can honestly say I cannot think of one little girl that wouldn't love this set- you will not be disappointed! It's also kind of pricey for a set your little girl will only use, in theory, for a year or so- but it is totally worth the price! The bumpers are super plush and really soft! The quilt is also- but I used that as a wall hanging to avoid putting anything unsafe in the crib. The sheet it comes with is a little washed-out looking, but crib sheets are not exactly the hardest thing to replace- besides, since it gets changed so often, I did not see any reason to fuss over it. The diaper stacker is pretty, but my very favorite part of the set is the lamp! It is absolutely adorable!
My daughter is only a week old, but I cannot wait until she is big enough to actually see her "princess room," because I know she will love it! I definitely reccomend this set!!

12'' Therapeutic Pressure Relief Memory Foam Mattress - Full Review

I purchased this mattress back in september, and wanted to wait a few months for the full experience before reviewing it. However, I love this mattress as much now as I did the first night I got it. If you've never slept on memory foam, it takes a little getting used to, since it conforms to your body in a way normal mattresses don't. However, that also means that it very well accepts your weight and shapes to your contour, removing pressure from sore spots.
If you have back problems, this is great for relieving said stress. There have been times my back has acted up and I have simply laid down for 30 minutes and noted a substantial improvement. A full night's sleep is easy for me now, as I have yet to find a position I can't comfortably sleep in. It is even comfortable to sit and read a book on, or work on a laptop, as it conforms even when you sit upright. It also allows for easy movement of one's partner without disturbing you, an added bonus I hadn't seen advertised about it.
I love the fact, also, that the mattress cover is removable for cleaning. This gives me confidence that this mattress will last and have minimized hygienic issues unlike most mattresses.
A word about its state when it arrives: I was a little concerned about how supportive a mattress could be that comes in a relatively small box and then decompresses when you unroll it. However, I have never once since felt it didn't support my full weight easily. I have seen some reviews complaining about its odor when it arrives, however I found this aired out easily within a few short hours and is certainly now undetectable, so I wouldn't suggest it be a deal breaker. Likely when I have to buy a mattress again, I'll be going right back for one of these.

The Good: The fabric is definitely waterproof and does seem to control the allergens. The pillow protector is much better than the mattress protector because there are no seam issues or oversize issues with the pillow protector.
The Bad: The Queen size mattress encasement has a seam running across the width of the bed! That seam is uncomfortable to my hip lying on it after a period of time, and I am a normal to skinny size person. My cover developed a rip in this mid-cover seam area after only a couple months. Clean Rest asked me to send it back to them before I can get another one under the warranty. So now I have to buy something else for the time I'll be out a cover. Also, we have a 9" deep mattress. The Queen size fits up to 15" deep. The extra fabric wrinkles up underneath you eventually, even if you initially tucked it under the mattress. It's made in China.

I purchased these beds to use as individual twin beds while my kids are little so that they have the option of bunking them later if they want more floor space. I also liked the idea of being able to use the side rail from the top bunk as a bed rail to keep the toddler from rolling out of the bed at night. Unfortunately this didn't turn out to be quite as easy as I had thought because when you use the set as twin beds you use the head and footboards of the bottom bunk as the headboards for both beds and the head and footboards of the top bunk as the footboards of both beds. We wound up having to drill 3 additional holes in order to make it work but it was still better than having to buy a separate bed rail.
As far as assembly goes it was really easy. I did it by myself and it probably only took about 2 hours (I had a power screwdriver with an Allen wrench head though, so if you do it by hand it would take a lot longer). It would have gone faster with two people and you certainly do need (at least) two people to bunk them. I was glad to have read all of the directions in advance since as I mention above the assembly is different if you are using them as separate beds rather than bunking them. One little thing that was different than I expected is that the mattress supports are not the kind you roll out, they are individually screwed in. I imagine this would be a downside if you were moving a lot but for me it's a plus. I recall sleeping on the top bunk in my sister's room when we had guests (I had a queen bed so my room became the guest room) and she would push the support slats up with her feet to lift my mattress while I was on it. This was (as was her object) very irritating and probably also dangerous.
As I would expect of a Davinci product (our crib is a Davinci) the beds are sturdy and solid. Shop around though because prices seem to vary a lot. I shopped around and waited for a coupon for months and would up saving almost $50.

We had a very bad bedbug problem and ended up throwing out our old mattress. To protect the new mattress we purchased this cover. We have a pillow top mattress, and couldn't find anything in stores to fit it - they were all too small. This cover has velcro along the inside of the zipper, so it really locks everything out of (or in) the mattress. We have since gotten rid of the bugs, but will not be taking this cover off the mattress...it's great!

I was very excited to get this. Out of the package it seemed like a good quality product. Before putting it on my son's bed, I washed and dried the set. Maybe I wasn't supposed to put the comforter in the dryer, but after I took it out (only in there about 15 minutes), the comforter was messed up. In several sections, it was like the stuffing material had melted together in a hard blob. Fortunately, this only happened in the corners, so it is not a complete loss. Keep the comforter out of the dryer, and you should be fine with this product.

QuickZip Sheet Set Review

Was thrilled with the idea at first, but not with the sheets. The description says they will fit matresses 5.5-7 inches deep. That is a bit of a problem, because there will be loose fabric unless your mattress is 7". But wait, they shrink!!! And I believe by more than the 3% stated on the company website. (BTW, the product description on Amazon says "preshrunk"). My mattress is Baby Luxe Organic (6 inches deep) and I breathed a sigh of relief when I found out the sheets shrunk after washing in warm water and drying in low heat. So now the sheets fit around the mattress (they were loose around it too), but I still need to use a thick mattress pad for a better fit in depth, which I was not planning to get. Since these are bedding items, and also I washed them, the sheets cannot be returned. Basically, changing will be easy with these sheets, but a good fit is a crap shoot. I also HATE the embellishment around the sheet (about 1 inch fabric with absolutely no practical purpose), since the top sheet shrunk by more than the bottom, and so the embellishment, instead of being at the corners of the crib, is inside.
If you must buy, proceed with caution. And be prepared to fiddle with bedding items until you get them to behave.
The only reason why I am giving 3 stars instead of 1 is because they are 200 count 100% cotton sheets, and most crib sheets out there don't even state the thread count (and seem to hide a small polyester content in the back of the package).
UPDATE
I resolved the problem by sewing a few strips of 1" wide elastic at the back of the bottom sheet. This took care of the loose fabric, and the sheets fit snugly. The irony is that my kid (now 2) did not sleep a single night on these sheets. He refused to sleep anywhere (crib, pack'n'play, bassinette, etc, except for our bed...). So all you mommas-to-be out there, relax and go with simple (possibly second-hand) sheets at the beginning until you figure out what your kid likes.

Basic Mattress Protector Review

We purchased this mattress protector for my toddler's bed as it was recommended highly by the mattress vendor. However, it leaked badly when he had an accident in his bed and we ended up with a very wet mattress. We called the company to report the defective mattress protector and they put us through an extensive process of collecting information from the protector, faxing in multiple documents, designating the leaky areas of the protector and finally shipping it back to them. We then received a call from Protect-a-bed and said that they concluded that YES- the protector we had was indeed leaky (gee thanks!) but it was user error and NOT a manufacturer defect so they are not responsible! The customer service agent told me that we must not have followed the directions to wash and dry it properly which cause the protective barrier to warp. I responded that we had not even washed it prior to putting it on his bed so it could not have been our fault. PRIMO Adjustable Bed Guard Rail (White) Review

There is not enough clearance for my tot's mattress, which is about an inch thicker than most mattresses. The plastic of the projected parts that go between the mattress and the box doesn't feel strong. I seriously doubt that this rail can hold up when my tot rolls up against it when sleeping. I am not going to take risks on my son and I am returning it. (BTW, I didn't order this from Amazon.com.)

Columbia Microfiber Sheet Set Review

These are a great value in terms of bang for the buck. Considering the price, they have exceeded my expectations so far. Washing instructions can be found on the under side of both the fitted and the flat sheet. The green color looks nice. They survived the first washer/dryer cycle without incident. The first night of sleep with these was also without incident. I just got these, so time will tell how they will do over time.
As others have mentioned, the product title is incorrect (as of February 21, 2011). It says these are made by Columbia. However, if you read the product description, it says these are made by Perry Ellis. And indeed, the ones I received are Perry Ellis. The model number mentioned in the Amazon item description (177673) matches the SKU sticker on the packaging.
The set, as expected, includes a flat sheet, a fitted sheet and two pillowcases. It comes in a see-through generic thing with Perry Ellis thin cardboardy paper added. They say 100% polyester, Made in China, 2009 Perry Ellis licensing, RN76948.

Packaged well, shipped much quicker than they advertised. Great product for the price! Don't use a box spring with it though, as it makes it set up too high. Included were enough supports that a box spring is not needed.

I am pretty sure these are the exact same Scooby Doo sheets that existed when I was a kid. They appear to be the same quality I remember as well. There is nothing at all wrong with them though my son with high functioning autism complained that they hurt him until they'd been washed a few times. Really I don't blame him, I think they are rather rough myself (Though I also am on The Spectrum and can be very sensitive to texture). The only reason I would suggest you not get a set of these sheets would be if you have a very sensitive or Autistic child who has issues with textures. My younger son is not on the Autism Spectrum and never made a peep about the texture of the sheets. He was just happy they were "awesome". The rest of the construction and quality of the bedding set has been totally satisfactory though not wildly exciting.

This headboard was super easy to assemble. It looks exactly like the product pictured - dark chocolate. I've used it now for 6 months and haven't had any problems with it.

We thought this set was adorable when it arrived. I immediately washed the bedskirt and comforter, and the cheap red dye or fabric ran, leaving pink splotches on the comforter and changing all of the polka dots from white to pink! We were looking specifically for bedding that wasn't pink or purple, and we were very disappointed in the poor quality of the materials used.

U.S. Polo Association Reversible Microfiber Bed in A Bag Review

The sheets are a little rough, but otherwise I really like this bed in a bag. The comforter feels like a cotton blend and is very soft, but in a way that is particularly comfortable for the summer. The pictures show the color well, and the plaid is a nice contrast to the pattern. It's not enough to keep you warm in the winter without an extra blanket (mine is a Sun Yin USA Inc Microplush Queen Blanket, Chocolate to match) but perfect for all other seasons.
One quibble: the fitted sheet seems a little tight. Maybe my mattress isn't exactly a full-size, or maybe they are just less stretchy than most sheets, but it made putting them on the first time a little difficult.

Great product. We love it on the blow up mattress and in a hotel room. My only complaint is I thought we were getting two for that price and was a little disappointed when only one arrived in the mail. The pictures shows two and I feel it is somewhat deceiving.
